The Alma Singers Recruitment Drive

 

 

The Alma Singers hold Open Rehearsal Evenings, as and when required, usually in October after the commencement of the Autumn term, which are designed to encourage singers of all abilities to attend with a view to joining the choir.

 

New prospective members are encouraged to come along for a few weeks, to sing with the choir and see how they settle in, and when they feel ready are asked to undertake a very simple ‘customer friendly’ audition – singing something of their own choosing, with no ‘sight singing’ involved.  The Musical Director wishes to emphasise that anyone interested in singing with the choir is welcome to come along to rehearsals at any time of year.
